Tulong Kay Nanay: A Program For Pregnant Women In Crisis

When mothers are supported, children are saved from abandonment, neglect, or trafficking.

Generations Home’s Tulong kay Nanay page educates pregnant women about the realities of abandonment, abortion, and trafficking. Our goal is to empower them to make well-informed decisions for the best interest of themselves and their child, and to provide them with physical, medical, and emotional support throughout their pregnancy.

Watch this video to find out more about our Pregnant Women In Crisis program:

Many women experience crises while they are pregnant, such as Rose. Many experience extreme poverty because they lose support or have financial problems. Many consider abandoning their children or illegally aborting them. We hope mothers do not ever need to reach these decisions. There are many more legal, free, and beneficial ways to support both the mother and the child.

It is possible that even with our support, a mother will still decide to surrender her baby. One way is to surrender her baby for adoption, if this is the best possible decision for the child and for the mother.

If you are currently experiencing what Rose experienced, or you know someone in her situation, do not think twice about asking for help. Go to your loved ones, or to people in organizations who want to help you. You may also message the Tulong Kay Nanay page of Generations Home.

This message and video are brought to you by Generations Home with the support of the Consuelo Zobel Alger Foundation.
