How A Couple Adopted A Teenage Orphan Halfway Across The World

Writer's picture: Generations—HomeGenerations—Home

For Mother's Day, Salt&Light shares the story of one of our advocates Rosalinda Camitan, who, before becoming an adoptive mother this year, was once an orphan herself.

Despite living halfway across the world, the American couple Lito and Marisol Salva stepped in to be parents to Rosalinda during one of the toughest times of her life.

In our short film directed by Tristan Ortega and produced by Studio Impact, her real-life experiences inspired the storyline of Lin. Watch the full video here.

Today, we celebrate Rosalinda, her adoptive parents, and all mothers and mother figures who selflessly pour out love and build up character in the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children!
